Founder's Story

From a Dreamer to a Builder

Growing up raised entirely by my grandparents — without my mother or father in my life — wasn't always easy. But even as a simple kid back in the 1990s, I had a big imagination and an absolute passion for technology and computer games.

Money was tight, and my grandparents couldn't afford game consoles or electronics. I would walk from neighbor to neighbor just for the chance to play on a computer for a few minutes. For me, gaming and technology weren't just entertainment — they were a sanctuary. They kept my mind focused, sparked my creativity, and gave me a positive outlet.

Seeing how much this meant to me, my grandfather did something that changed my life forever: he used his hard-earned life savings to buy me my very first personal computer. He sacrificed everything just to bring that joy and opportunity into my life.

That single act of love unlocked a whole new world.

At just 10 years old, driven to understand the stories behind the screen, I translated an English video game into my native language and coded the translation right into the game so that all the local kids could finally understand what we were playing.

That moment sparked a fire in me. It led me to earn my degree in software engineering and spend over 18 years building a career in enterprise IT. I lived out the exact dream that started in my childhood bedroom.

Why I'm Giving Back

I know firsthand what happens when a child's spark is nurtured instead of ignored. A single computer, a gaming console, or an educational tool can completely alter the trajectory of a young life and bring immense happiness into a home.

When companies and individuals recycle or sell their used tech with us — from laptops and parts to gaming gear — we give that hardware a second life. But more importantly, every piece of tech we process and sell directly funds our mission to give back.

A portion of our earnings goes directly into a dedicated community initiative aimed at putting computers, gaming consoles, and educational technology into the hands of children who need them most. We want to give young dreamers the tools to learn, play, build skills, and find the same happiness and hope that technology brought into my life when I was a kid.

We are turning retired technology into tools of joy and opportunity — just like my grandfather did for me.
